Yemi is a British born Nigerian living in Sydney, Australia. She’s an Engineer by profession, an entrepreneur by passion, and mindset transformation thought leader by mission.
The life she currently leads was not planned, nor did she even imagine was possible. She spent a big part of her childhood in Nigeria, she has been homeless, she’s been a solo parent to two children from different fathers.
For context:
The key trauma in her experience that she shares is from being sexually abused as a 7-year-old by her uncle. A family member that her parents trusted.
She has built successful businesses, she has grown her amazing brand, she has established her family without support and she is an inspiration for everyone who struggles with their trauma.
This conversation is about overcoming your trauma to make you stronger than you would have ever been without the “bad” happening in the first place.
It’s about being happy in the contrast of life.
It’s about being radically honest with yourself and rebelliously curious about life, perspectives and purpose.
Yemi is a beautiful soul and an incredible individual.
Be sure to hear her wisdom in this insightful, honest & authentic conversation.
If you know anyone who has gone through trauma (no matter how “small”) be sure to send them this episode to watch.
